And here I was thinking I'm the only guy in Texas shooting a Martin.

I shoot a Martin Panther Magnum 62#. Great bow!

It does most of the X-splitting for me.

There is some recoil to it...

but I don't seem to notice it too much. It is about comparable to my old Jennings. It shoots real good though. Just bought it last year. Some of the attachments, particularly the quiver, are a little noisy. I need to work on quieting them down some.

Quiver noise

Put a peice of heavy cloth between the mounting bracket and the bow.Leather or denim works well
