Does anyone know if the battery guage that is on the pics works when you have a 6 volt connected??

We had one that just quit after about 10 days. It did take about 100 pics per day.

It sounds like something else is wrong. I have a 6 volt with solar panel on my and for the most part it stayed at 99% all last year while the solar panel was connected. We get about the same number of pics as you per day. I did have a rat chew my solar panel wires one time that caused the battery to go dead.

We do not have solar panels on yet.

Sorry. I thought you were running off a 6v. If you put 12 batteries in it it should still last over a month. At least that is my experience so far.

If your using a 6 volt lantern battery or one with 4.5 amps that is about the same as using 8 AA batteries. You need to use a bigger battery or get a solar panel.
