    Binoculars and range finder?

With a limited budget is it best to get seperate ones or is a lower end combo a good way to go?

    Thanks

I've got some good Binos for sale in the classifieds.

Buy an inexpensive rangefinder and invest in some quality binos. You will not regret spending the extra money on optics. They will last you a lifetime! Leica has the only combo that I would spend my money on! I'm not sure all the other companies have quite perfected it!

I got a bushnell set a few years ago from cabelas for around $200.

Not the greatest, but they serve the purpose they are intended to do in my hunting situations.

The quality is decent, optics are ok, and they have held up nicely for about 5 years now

Quality optics will serve you more than range finder. Range finders are cool but unless you are shooting 300+ on a regular basis or target shooting they really aren't necessary IMO. I like Nikon, for both binos and range finder.
