from the boys at Trailcampro.com out of Springfield, Mo today. Very nice fellas. Due to the spotty cell reception in the Kiamichi's we went with the external antenna.

Wondering whether to send the pics to my phone or an email address. Anybody have experience and can give advice on the pros and cons?

Do both. You can change it remotely via SMS commands anytime! I have a mailbox rule that will forward the pictures I receive via Email to dropbox and photobucket. The text is for instant gratification.

I setup a free gmail account. I get about 50 or 60 pics a night so I don't want to clutter up my regular email. The gmail app works great on my iPad or iphone. If you have several people on your lease you can just have one email address that everyone can login to vs having to forward pics to everyone. I also get it sent via text too.

If you have an iPhone emailing the pics directly from the camera to the phone does not work well. The camera names each picture file the same so the iPhone just overwrites the last picture.

Well the guys at Trail Cam Pro took care of me. They set up my camera and loaded the numbers and e-mail address before shipping.


I took it down to the AT&T store this afternoon. Got a GoPhone SIM card, fired it up and Bang, we are operational!



I'll install the extended antenna on Saturday. Can't wait!!!!

Yeah, my wife is worried about my looking at pics and thinking about hunting more than I already do....if that is possible.

I'm more worries about looking at them while at work!
