Had one when we first moved in 15 years ago. It went out on us so we called in a repairman. He told us that to fix it would cost as much as a new different brand. We got a Kenmore and to tell you the truth I like it better. Has more room and other than not having the bragging rights of a sub-zero I can't tell the difference.

My mom has had the same one for at least 20 yrs. the motor went out a few years ago and that has been it.

Mine is 20 years old, if it went out tomorrow I would not have any regrets. Hope I did not jinx myself.

We have one in our house and it is 13 years old and has been perfect. We had a 33 year old one in our other house and left it with the house. It's still working just fine for the young lady that bought the house.
