    Green screen brain trust help

    I built this in my back yard last month, I'm putting directv and a stereo reciever out there by the fireplace, I need a water proof cabinet to put my receivers in. I have looked for a cabinet can' t find anything, any suggestionsClick image for larger version

              Use a marine sealer on wood ???

                Build an acrylic box and seal it with waterproof clear caulk. You could even get rubber grommets for cabling that should keep things watertight as at as rain. Just make sure that you also caulk where your screws and hinges are, not jut the seams.

                    Can you get a small truck tool box and mount it sideways where the lid raises up?

                      Nice "patio"! Remember, if you have those receivers in a waterproof enclosure, when they are in operation, you need to "vent" the enclosure enough to circulate air around them to keep them from over-heating. Stereo receivers can generate a lot of heat driving something like a surround sound system.
