That is why liberal politicians make me so mad, I guess. It makes me mad to see good and well-intentioned people get lied to, manipulated and used by power hungry scumbag politicians. The liars need to be called on their lies. But it is so very hard to have that conversation without offending the good folks that have been manipulated. Its easy to see that and decide to just stay quiet. But then the manipulators getting free rein to do their voodoo. Sucks no matter what, I guess.

I do not see it as a race issue by itself, though race is inflected for political gain. It's a conservative vs liberal battle with the race card being played at the drop of a hat.

Conservatives for the most part believe in God and that our constitutional rights are God given. LWL's on the other hand believe all rights descend from government. This is why a lot of those who vote liberal sit around waiting for the government to wire transfer happiness on the 1st and 15th of the month.

This is the day of the community organizer and social engineering, race just happens to be a convenient political tool.
