From the top of the world

    Hey fellas.

Here's a short scoop: I received a grant to shoot a doc for PBS and I chose Rifle Colorado to shoot it in.
What a different world than Texas! The work, the money, the economy, the scenery, the lifestyles-----are a turnaround from what I'm actually used to.

I've seen more game in one day than I have hunting a month in LBJ!
Elk, deer, turkeys....I've had deer run through my living area while sitting there enjoying a coffee!

    No snakes TrailBoss!

I've been working so hard I've had very little time to resize photos, shoot video for fun or separate the video I have shot to show any clips ro archive some for my personal use. But since I'll be here for a maximum of 6 months, I'll have the time and will share some but work comes first--everyone knows that and I have committed first to an interesting subject matter in an interesting area.

I'll be here during archery season for deer and since I"m living on private land that backs up to BLM land, I can hunt the private----but the cost of a
NON RESIDENT license is EXORBITANT! Over 300 dollars.....!!

Hopefully these few pics of where I am will upload. Where I live there's no internet so checking in is sporadic----and took some getting used to when there's a GS addiction! Thank goodness there's a wireless Starbucks in town----but that's 17 miles drive to get there from the mountains! So going in to town is party!

Take care fellas, have a good spring/summer.

              .
If all you have to pay for is the tag then its a DEAL! Oh yeah, if your getting a tag in CO, Private land tags are normally ONLY good for private land. So make sure before you go hunt the BLM.
