    Caught it just in time

Walked out to the deep freeze to get dinner out and just about everything was thawed out. I hate it when this happens but the freezer is 19 years old so I guess it was bound to happen some time or another.

Oh man, that can get bad. We had one go when I was 25 or so and it had an elk two wt and 3 turkeys in it. Out for a week or so before we smelled it. It was bad.

I'm glad I caught it when I did cause we just picked up about $100 worth of sausage from bellville meat market and all of the breast milk we have saved for my 8 month old. All my summer sausage was thawed. I guess we will eat good at the fire station tomorrow.

I know my time is coming considering that my upright Sears kenmore freezer is over 35 years old! Hope I catch it in time.

I shut down our 35 year old freezer a month ago. Have not replaced it yet.

I remember those days. My wife stock piled her breast milk for my son like it was the end of the world. I swear she had enough to feed every infant in the neighborhood.
