    Zeiss victory whats it worth

I'm thinking about selling my zeiss victory 2.5-10x50 with 30mm tube new condition to fund part of a more powerful Swarovski z6 3-18.. Just curious as to what everyone thinks I could get for it if I did sell it.. I'm not saying its for sale so that's why it's not in classifieds..

Ok you drive a hard bargain. I give you $300 for it.

I love my Ziess but I'm like you, I want a Swarovski so bad for another rifle I'm putting together.

            http://www.samplelist.com/Riflescope...1.aspx#Leupold

Samplelist has three listed for 1500-1800.

But since we are low balling I will offer 800.

Samplelist can be a touch on the high side but a pretty good indicator. List it on ebay or there's a bunch of guys on accuratereloading.com and 24hourcampfire who'd be really interested if you decide to sell it.

If its still in brand new condition its worth a few hundred less than you paid for it.

*****depending on how old it is******

I have a 4.5x14x44 conquest on mine and it does the trick on my 7MM.

That Zeiss was Made in Germany and the T* represents the best coatings with fluorite (HD) glass. (The cheaper versions assembled in America have a MC after the 2.5-10x50). Your scope is worth a ****-load . . .

BH Photo has them on clearance for $1800.

Just FYI, if you get the Z5 3.5-18 Swarovski you can save about $1k.

For whatever reason the 6X erectors cost a ton more money. Other than that I don't think there is any difference.

I looked at the Z6 but just could not justify the difference in cost, especially seeing as they are virtually the same range of magnification.

I use the BRH reticle in mine. You can go on their website and plug in your ballistic data in their ballistic calculator and it will give you ranges at the different marks. You can plug in your target game so it calculates the size of the vital area and on the chart will give you the ranges where you can hold dead on and hit the vital zone. It's prtty darn sweet.
