Help with pop up blind stand...

So I am most likely going to build a stand on which to put my pop up blind. But, I am having a hard time deciding what materials to use. I am thinking of making it all out of wood, but my brother says that angle iron would be better. I am trying to keep costs down, and I do not know how much the metal would be. Can you guys and gals give me any tips as far as what would be the better option???

Personally I built one in about an hour using 2x6 for legs and some random ply wood from building the house that was left over as the floor. Its about 4 feet off the ground and has held up for 5 or so years now.
