Varmint cages, eliminator spinner plates, coon cuffs, live traps, lead!

Really there is no stopping them....ever!

Back Button.Curious which of these has worked the best.I was leaning toward the eliminator spin plate but read some negatives on it.

I usually head out w/ a buddy. One of us running the spot light and the other running and AR-15. We can usually pile up a few. I've thinned 'em out a little. For a while there it seemed like every pic I had on my game camera had several of those little buggers doing pull-ups from my varmint cages. I have a heap more trouble from coons than I do from hogs. Kill 'em all, I say.

After putting a major dent in my feedpen populations with live traps (32 to be exact), I installed these round varmint guards with 1" mesh and haven't had any issues since 2008... the 20x20" boxes with 4" holes in the first pics were a total failure.

Sure I'll get some eating up under the feeder at night if there is any leftover corn but the days of them spinning out 900 lbs a month are gone.. I even cut the legs down 18" to make it easier to fill because I have so much confidence in the 1" mesh cages..

Smart, that is the way I am leaning now.The Eliminator seems to have problems and so does the zapper.I work too much to shoot them all. This is probably the way to go.Thanks.

                      ^^^ coon cage
                      1" holes
As wide around as a 55 gallon drum
                      And secure them suckers good.

Force the coons to eat off the ground like the rest of the varmints.

If youre running solar panels (I highly suggest you do) keep stainless steel wire loom on the wires and keep the panels inside your cage.

Just ordered the large round varmint cage from EWT.My solar panel already has the metal loom on the wires. Thanks for the advice.I kill a pile of them every year but they always come back.I think a few of them got into my fly bait that I had out for my fly problem.I shot 3 a week ago. This morning my solar panel was facing the ground.
