How can I get more yard work?

I'm 16 and I'm trying to increase my yard service and was wondering if y'all have any tips on what I should do to make more money...

Probably the only thing to do is advertise--flyers and a business card. I would also offer a "vacation lawn service" for folks going out of town -- you take care of everything in the yard while they are gone, watering, mowing, picking up mail, newspapers, etc.

All of my work now comes to me by word of mouth but I've been in the business for 10+ years

Live closer to my part of Tomball. I'd suggest putting it on your Facebook or Twitter page and tell your friends to tell their parents.

What all do you offer at this time in your yard service business. Being in the landscape and nursery business for over 30 years I should be able to give you some pointers or ideas to increase your business. One thing I can tell you right off is, do what you say you are going to do when you say you are going to do it. Word of mouth from satisfied customer is the best marketing you can have.

Do a good job for your current customers and ask them to recommend you to their friends, neighbors, and family.

Door to door in big subdivisions works well. Get one person to commit. Do a good job and word of mouth does the rest. Its easy to make a lot of money in those situations when 10 jobs are all lined up and you don't have to load back up to go somewhere else.

                    This.
Worked for me when I did tree work. I stayed busy.
Easternoutdoors is right. Do good work and be dependable.

Make up some flyers and put it out throughout your neighborhood, make sure to let them know that you're a hard worker and won't cut corners. Worked for me when I was 16 with my lawn business.

I have a feeling you'll do just fine.
Be consistent and ask your current clients to refer you.
Figure out how much work you can handle and stick with it. If you stretch yourself thin, it gets easy to cut corners.

What are you charging? Maybe your not making enough on the work you are doing.

Look for houses that need their grass cut and knock on their door.

Not sure if there are Fuzzy Taco locations in COnroe but inside the waiting line there are boards that business people will stick business cards on so people will see them standing in line.

There are always several realtor cards. Call all of them and let them know you are cutting grass. Usually will lead to some work.
