Tuning Question for DXT Owners

I finally got my DXT and have set it up and need to adjust the center shot and probably tweak the nock point. I set the center shot by eye ball and it ended up at ~11/16" but reading the Mathews manual it states to start at 13/16" so I moved it but I think I need to adjust it back, atleast some. What do you all have your center shot set at?

Also, where is your nock point, level or 1/8" high (or in between)?

I hope to get a DXT next week. I have been shopping around trying to find the best deal.
What did you load on your DXT i.e. rest, sights, etc.
I think I am going with:
Extreme 1000 sight
Ripcord rest

QAD Ultra HD rest
SKB parallel limb case
Dozen Black Hawk Vapor Pro's

Im still in to get a stabilizer and quiver.

I set my nock level and I will measure my center using an arrow on the front and back of the riser shelf.

did you shoot it through paper before you moved it? everybodies center shot is gonna vary a tad. im talkin 16ths. i would shoot it through paper any time that i adjusted my center.

not yet but I know its off I can see it in the arrow flight. plus I want to get about 100 arrows thru it before I try to fine tune anything.

I agree. Paper tuning is the way I set them up. Its fast and easy.

When I bought my bow the guy put a loop on it for me because I don't have any of the measuring stuff and just don't care to. I paper tuned today and I just moved the rest a bit left and down, and it was shooting bullet holes. Took me about an hour to get it down.

After that I just adjusted my sights, and it's shooting very accurately now.

My sights are not real good, and they're kind of old, but I hate to mess with it now.

I agree but I don't care to drop $100 bucks when I don't set up bows very often. I guess I could take it into a pro-shop but I tend to like to do things myself since I know I can.

For items that take real expertise, I'll let the pro shop do it. They have a much better chance of getting it right than I do and they have the tools.

My problem is that I don't do the setup enough to remember how to do it from one time to the next.
