      I think that one is a Bell.
      Early Archaic.

            They were found by a friend, western Lampasas Co, not sure when or how.

              some things we have found near Hughes Springs.

              Heads, grinding stone, tomahawk? Pottery, pipe, flint, etc. Anything really rare? I assume it's all Caddo indian artifacts?

                      Most of the points are NOT caddo. The pottery is caddo age as are the small true archery points. The rest are a mixture of several thousand years from early Archaic to Woodland.

                      The ax is probably late archaic as well. Nothing super rare in there but its all interesting to me.

                        Thanks, I found most of the pottery and a few heads digging in a field we own. The spot I dug out was roughly the size of a car. Wish I was able to move dirt like you fellas.
