        Some better pics with something like a coin for scale would help. Try natural light so there isn't a shadow on the flaking.

            I'm gonna tentatively call that wells because the stem edges appear ground. Regardless its definitively an early archaic knife. Love the big bold percussion flaking .

              That material is the same exact material that is all over our deer lease in Vanderpool. One day when I get some motivation I will post our finds from there to get your input.

                    Nice looking material. The tip is broke off, and the bottom appears to be broke off as well. Hard to tell without the base.
