    need help fast!!

My 14 month son got into a fire ant bed. Got bit probably 60 times on the legs. Anyone know of any relief for them? I'm watching him close. The nearest hospital is 15 minutes away if we have to go that route. I'm just creaking out and need help.

I don't know of anything other than any sign of an allergic reaction get him to the hospital asap. Maybe some children's benadryl if you have some.

White vinegar is supposed to help ease the stinging

Stop checking TBH and get to an ER! That many ant bites on a 14 month old needs medical attention.

May send the misses to the store get some, works great for this stuff, my kids have been torn up by fire ant, bees, wasps, and scorpions this summer, gets them fixed up good then cortisone for the bites themselves.

To be safe take the child to the ER....

At that age anaphylaxis and or other allergic reactions can come quickly and swiftly. That is a whole lot of protein for a young body to absorb. Don't chance it.

                        ditto
60 bites is a lot for a small child. Better be safe than sorry...

Ditto this. If the child starts into shock, he'll only make it about 1/2 way to the ER if you aren't going now.

If you have an aloe vera plant cut a leaf off and rub it on the bites. It will help with the itching and keep them from bumping up real bad. Same thing happened to my little girl a while back. I keep aloe plants around the house for burns and stings. Be sure and keep a close eye on him. Hope the little guys gets better.
