What is this young life camp you speak of?

First time she has gone so I'm not real sure. Truthfully I always thought Young Life was just a gathering of high school age kids ( with adult supervision) to give them something to do. But I'm starting to think it is Christian based. Harley is twitting about being so much closer to God after being there.

Thus sounds like I sent my kid off to a camp that I have no idea about. It's a pretty big deal and I know many of the kids who have gone on the past. In fact on of our 4-H rifle shooters went back for 2 weeks to work this year. I will let you know after I talk to her.

Through out the year they hold meetings called club and campaigners where the gospel is shared. Every summer these kids have to opportunity to spend a week at a Young Life camp with their leaders. Guaranteed the best week of their lives or their money back. I'm extremely excited about this thread. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I became a Christian thru Young Life at Frontier Ranch, Colorado when I was 16 years old. Young Life had a huge impact on my life.

I was lucky enough to take a group from my old high school as a leader a few years after that.

Young life and young lives is a great organization. Camp is a way to bring kids to accept Jesus into their lives if they are ready. This is great news.
