Numb fingertip after shooting compound bow....thoughts?

I put about 30 arrows through my old school Browning Drake Flightmaster (perfect condition, too ) while getting the pins adjusted, since I plan on rocking that old beast like it's 1984 on some hogs.

Well, it's been three days now and the tip and pad of my middle finger is still numb. I was shooting three under, and without a glove, but bought a glove before I left the shop (Double G).

Is this normal or did I somehow totally F-up my nerve in my finger?

You stretched a gut in your hand or wrist to where it may have rubbed a nerve. Gut man, gut

Unusual since guys shoot trad bows having 50+ pounds at full draw roll off their fingers without ill effect. Buy a release. I shoot trad with a tab, compound I wouldn't think of it.

              Switch to a thumb release?

Wrist strap to tight. Switch to a T Handle style.

I think that using my damascus glove, along with ensuring that I do not allow my middle finger to take the brunt of the bow's pull (instead making sure it's evenly split between all three fingers) will help me. I just hope it doesn't take too many more days before I get all my feeling back in my finger! :P

Don't rule out nerve in shoulder and/or back. Get you some surgical tubing or resistance bands and stretch it out real good before and after shooting. Just my 2 cents, of course.
