the bone collector one from wal mart....so far I am very impressed with it.....got a couple ground hogs today at work....about 50 yards.....do not recommend the scope that comes with it but I bought a pretty cheap bushnel and like it....I also bought the ballistic tip pellets and they seemed to do the job on the grounds hogs

Plain ol' lead pellets will work just fine on tree rats @ 50 yds. No need to buy more expensive ones.

If I'm not mistaken shooting tree rat with an air rifle is a nono

Yes it is illegal. What I should have said was that plain pellets should work just fine on small, non-game animals or targets. I tried the fancy pellets and the plain pellets on a target and saw no difference.
