Ayoob's Concealed Carry is a good book.

Be careful about info on the travelling with CHL. It changes a LOT from state to state! By the time it gets in print, sometimes it is outdated. Best bet is to check online sources for most current info.

Also on the states. I don't understand why Alabama doesn't honor the texas Chl
The other southern states do. Getting ready for a trip and trying to make sure I'm legal.

The CHL handbook is good reading material . I'm only slightly kidding- it has everything you need to know in regards to legalities. If your instructor didnt give you one you can print it off from the chl website.
