    Knife Sharpening Tips?

Anybody have some good tips? I've got one of those smith's multi-tool type thing with a flat diamond stone and some diamon fingers too.

Consistent angle is more important than pressure, let the stone move the metal not you. Followed by equal number of swipes per side

I like to work one side until i develop a bur on the opposite side, then flip. Once I've gone through all of my progressively finer grits, i strop it with an old belt embedded with polishing compound.

Hone them on a regular basis with a quality steel. I only sharpen my knives 1-2 times a year and I use them ALOT!!!! I hit mine on the steel every 5-10 minutes of use, for me that's 20-30 times a day.
