That's an open ended question...kinda like what car should I buy?
You want permanent or term? I will not sell you any, but feel free to call me at work, and I will guide you to what you may need, and I will refer you to someone in your area. 800-755-7236 (not now )
Talk to someone before you drop your current policy. You could be cutting your nose off to spite your face. If you've had your existing policy any appreciable length of time, you might find your new premiums to be much higher (due to the age difference). And then there are underwriting issues - if you've had any change in health, you might find yourself uninsurable or not qualifying for the best rates. If you are needing more life insurance, you may well be better off to keep your existing policy and just add to the coverage with a new policy (with a different company if you're dissatisfied with State Farm). Depending on what kind of policy you have with SF - you might also be able to increase the coverage on that policy (subject to underwriting approval of course).
The main reason I'd be looking for something, is the fact that when we lose the multi policy discount after changing our auto ins. from SF, I think I can find a much better plan for the money somewhere else. It's not much of a plan to begin with really.
Randy - I'll call you tomorrow. I can use all the help I can get. I'm pretty bad at this stuff. Just promise not to whoop my a**!!
