Need helper for concrete work - Graham, TX

I am going to be pouring a curb for my new fence and a 10'x10' pad as an add on to my patio in the next couple of weeks. Does anyone know of someone around the Graham area that would be able to come help with the finishing work on the cement? I will have the forms already up, just need help when the cement truck gets here to help smooth everything up. It is 350 feet of curb and the 10'x10' pad and there is no way I have the experience or the man-power to get it all done myself before parts of it set.

If you know of anyone with concrete experience please let me know. Would prefer a by-the-hour type of deal.
    Thanks

Is what you are calling a curb going to be free hand for shaping it or is it formed as in a very short wall? If free hand you will need a lower slump concrete which will cause it to get hard faster. With that said if that is the case you will need a good curb man and several helpers for the curb. If it is coming out of the same truck for the patio as well then you will need another couple of guys to finish it as your conc. will be getting old. I would suggest adding a bit of retarder because its better to wait on it as it begins to set than rushing because it is getting hard on you. The higher the strength/ lbs of cement per yard the more critical the things I am telling you become.

The curb will be made in the forms (short wall), just need help getting it all poured in and smoothed up around the posts and edges. I may split it up into 2 truck loads since it will be easier to divide it up into sections and not have to work it all at once.

Not sure about just helping you, but when we built the patio around our pool s few years ago we built the forms and then Randy Sumpter came out and poured/finished it up for us. He did good work
