River Cane Arrows

Thought I'd show y'all some cane arrows I made a while back for my dad and brother. Some river cane cut from my parents land I straightened over a fire. I used some turkey feathers from my brothers first turkey and some artificial sinew with a few broadheads cut from a saw blade.

Cut the nock in with a dremel and small file


Glued and wrapped a screw in field tip

Straightened


Some are missing tips cause my brother missed the target a few times

Thanks! They fly great actually. I match them as best I can by spine weight. These are all 50-55# ish.

well done!!! i have built a few myself. i used an oak dowl rod on bot ends. a little carveing and they make good nocks and a good place to glue on tips.

i plan to build a fishing arrow next.
