I've been a hoyt guy for several years now. I was shooting getting ready for an up coming spring bear hunts and noticed one of my limbs was delaminating. Its was going to be close if I would have it back before i leave with new limbs from hoyt, so wha do you do. Thats right turn it into a backup bow.
I had full intentions of coming out of Archery Country with a new Katera on arrival. I am also a firm believer in shoot them all and choose what suits you teh best after shooting them. I shot them all and at he end of the day it was a toss up on the DXT or Drenalin LD. Since my ViperTec is a short bow i decided to go with a longer axel bow. I must say i am quite impressed with Mathews new stuff. Its 37" axel to axel, 30" draw lenght and i'm shooting it at 73 lbs. It is incredibly light weight, silky smooth shooting, extremely fast, and deadly accurite. I can wait to see how that launching a 100 grain Slick Trick tipped Axis 340 preforms on a big bruin. Wish me Luck.
