Winding down the week at the Frio and lease.

Been on vacation this week, camping at the Frio river and made a day trip up to the lease. Man r things green right now! But the river is a little lower than last year. Still great though.

Drove the twisted sisters on the way back to the Frio and came across this giraffe in a high fence on RR 335. BTW in my opinion RR 335 is the prettiest drive in the state of Texas!!

Sweet. My fil's lease is on the Annandale ranch where the bat cave is. The 10-12 million bats flying out is really cool. That country is looking good right now. Enjoy the times with that little guy. Mine is now 21. It is true, you blink and your kids are grown.

It's in my top 10 as well. There are a few in Big Bend, West Texas and near Mt Guadalupe that are in there as well.

Thanks for the share. I'll be living on the Frio over the 4th...next weekend...Randy Rogers Friday night in Concan!

How far is the park from Roosevelt? That would be neat to check out sometime.

If you drive main roads and dont stop to take pictures of the views and animals you come across it is about 1.25 hrs but the way we went driving the twisted sisters and stopping allot to take pictures about 3.5 hrs.
