Does anyone have any experiance with these? I'm looking for something to bring a little bit of cool air to my deck. If I got one it would be the smallest one that says it cools 500 square foot. I wonder if thats 500 enclosed foot or will it do that on an open deck. Any information would be appreciated.

I've bought a couple of them, and from my experience, spend the extra cash on the next size bigger than you actually need. It seems like I'm constantly taking them to different shops or barns and everyone always wants to borrow one for some sort of party. They work great.

We use them daily in our warehouses, love them.

If your humidity is over 40% they will not be very efficient.
