AC problems 2004 Chevy Truck

I had a dead battery and after I installed my new battery my AC started only blowing out of the defroster. I was informed to disconnect the battery and reconnect - no luck. I was also told to take out the HVAC fuse for 30 +/- seconds and reinstall and start - no luck.

Anybody experience this before and/or have any tips to reset?

Many, many times, it will work with the reboot. take fuse out again, reinstall, turn key on and touch nothing for 90 seconds. The actuators should sweep and relearn. If that fails again, then I would suspect mode door actuator needs replacing. Quite the coincidence though

Door actuator motor. Had the exact same thing happen to my 05 sierra. Battery went dead and AC only blew to defroster. Bought the part from the dealer and had my mechanic install it, works perfect now
