Need patent help!!

I come up with a really good idea and just don't know where to start. I believe it could change the hunting world forever!!!

Problem is: I just don't know anything about getting a patent or the steps to get the ball rolling.

Anyone here know anything about it?

And yes, everyone here will want it. No, I can't tell you what it is

One precaution you may want to take while seeking a patent - document it with drawing and description and have it notarized. Google how to get a patent.

First warm up your checkbook , then go ahead and contact a reputable patent attorney knowledgeable in the realm of your idea .

Go to uspto.gov and do a patent search to be sure someone else doesn't already have a patent on it. There is also a link on that site that details the patent process.

A little advice, do not trust those patent help services on the commercials,
Also, you can go to the patent office web page and do the whole thing yourself, and they are glad to walk you through the steps.
Or, you could just take your product straight to market
Name recognition is much more important than a Patent.
