Wife wants to go to the beach and I would like to do some fishing while there. We have always gone to Galveston area but I don't care for it too much. Where is a better place to go relax on the beach and fish? I don't really want to drive as far as Corpus but don't mind driving another hour or so farther than Galveston. I also wouldn't mind hiring a guide for a day to take my 14 year old son fishing if anyone could recommend a good one. Don't have to catch huge fish but I would like it to be pretty action-packed for him. Thanks for any info, I'm not very educated on the Saltwater scene.
