Buy something similar to what moltrie has that plugs into their cams with out having to subscribe to their website to view pics? I have an upper end moultrie cam and are wanting to get a service with a cam to txt me the pics. I've looked at the covert and the lil acorn and will prob go with one of the two. However I already own a Moultrie that happy with and it seems like they should have some kind of module that will plug in to it and send pics. The reason I don't want to sign up for their plan is I have AT&T and can add an
unlimited plan for 10$ with unlimited pics where as with moultrie it's 29$ for 400 pics plus they don't txt them to you. Any advice or suggestions? Sorry for the long read

Your stuck and that's exactly why I didn't buy a Moultrie. Just use the Moultrie as a regular cam and get one of the two you mentioned for sending texts.

Go with covert! I only get 2 weeks battery life with my acorn. Tried solar panel and then external battery. Acorn cs said to only push the external cable in half way. Haven't tried that but it doesn't make a lot of sense. I get 6 months from energizer lithiums out of my covert and Uway.

I like the reviews i have read about the covert prob going to order one. You would think as popular as moultrie cams are they would have something you could add to your existing cams.

Spypoint has various cell phone models, you need an account with spy point $20 for the year and you use whatever cell provider in your area.

The live 5mp and live 3G model 8mp would do the trick
