Where would you place a stand?

Where would you place a stand (box and/or tree) at on this piece of property?

Yellow lines are the boundary. Red dots are stands that already exist. There is another stand about 200 yards east of the southeast corner of the boundary lines on that highline. There is a road on the east side which runs parallel to a fence line. This was been cut and replanted several years ago so as you can tell it's almost all pines.

In side the yellow lines there is a arrow like cleared spot correct? That might be a spot, but it's real close to the other stands..

You need to try to pattern deer movement first... and think about being shot at or shooting at other stands

You could put it on the south end of that arrow, facing and shooting north. Then make that into a big food plot area. That would help. Besides that, couldn't tell you without trails etc

That's the only area I can see worth placing a stand but you are right, it's too close to the others. I might have to look at the other two spots that are available.

Close up of the arrow. From that stand to the farthest side of the arrow is under 200 yards. Too close for comfort.

If the other stands have feeders set up, I'd try to find some trails in the woods about 100 yards to set up on and just hand corn. Might catch a big one waiting for dark to come out of the woods.

Does that "arrow" look like an SR-71 Blackbird to anyone else?

That's a possibility. Would have to hunt it a good ways north of the cutover to keep a good distance between me and the other stand that is on the road to the west.

                            good call!

so you have the entire area that is inside the yellow, I would place my stand and feeders right in the middle.

If you put it in the middle, then you run the risk of pushing deer out going to and from....

                              How many acres is this?
