Looked closer to 8' in the video unless the guy that grabbed the tail is about 4'7"

Id agree with this. Here is a 6 footer and I believe he is shorter than the one in the video.

I was sitting in my tree stand deer hunting in FL many years back. I heard all hell break loose behind my stand like something fighting. It kept on and on with no seeming lull in the action. I climbed down from my stand and started moving toward the noise.

What I found was the largest snake I have ever seen in the wild (a black Indigo) with an Armadillos head in its mouth. The Armadillo was still very much alive and the snake was thrashing back and forth slinging its catch against the trees. I watched for a while and it was soon declared a draw when the snake let it go and they both went separate ways. I later found out that this is typical behavior for an Indigo. People that keep them as pets usually feed them dead prey to keep the snake from hurting itself during feeding.

I would hope that if I saw one of these in the wild I'd be able to let it live, but I'm afraid that after soiling myself, I'd shoot holes in everything in site before realizing what it was.
