    Eurasian Collared Dove

We are covered up with them and I see that there is no season. So my question is what would be a good cheap airgun to get the kids so they can thin some out this summer?

Any ole 177 cal pellet gun that will shoot halfway accurate will do the job. A gamo from academy should work!

            Thats what that was!!!!
Saw one ina field on the way to work today and for the life of me I thought it was a small pheasant. Knew it couldnt be in Forney but I sure did a double take.

His daisy just knocks the feathers off, I just tried
That's why I came in and started a thread

Is a 177 too strong? I saw some referenced whacking varmints with that

They were having an orgy on the haybarn roof so I figured I try it. Got feathers and they all left for 3-4 mins then right back hanging out on the stud pen and up on the power line

They're pretty tough, you can smoke them with a 12 ga a lot of the times and it won't phase them. 177 should do the trick though.

That leads me to another question then. You can shoot varmints with a 177 too? Is it big enough for that?

Can you tell I know nothing about guns

I would go at least .22 caliber for varmint's. A well placed .177 will anchor small varmints, it's the not so perfect shot's that get ya.

That's what I figured but there have been a bunch I look at there reference shooting varmints.
