5 in a row!!!! Go Rangers!

Glad they finally decided to start playing ball. Back in sole possession of first and playing good ball. Finding ways to win!!!! Saw today they placed Gentry on the DL though. I hate that but he hadn't been batting worth a flip. They called up Engel Beltre and I'm EXTREMELY anxious to see what he does! I remember when they got him at 17 from the Red Sox in the Gagne trade. He's a helluva a defensive outfielder so he could definitely see time next season if Murphy and Cruz aren't re-signed. He's got some quirks though lol. We'll see how they play out in the Majors.

    Let's sweep them Yanks!

Good to see them getting back on track. Helps when Kinsler is back in the line-up and getting Moreland back will help too. We "survived" a rough stretch with a lot of guys on the DL, but getting folks healthy will help. Resting Berkman the last several days should help too. Need to play well against the Yankme's and the Reds.

There were times that that bad stretch would have ended the Rangers season. Glad to have Kins and Mitch back in the line-up. It all starts with Kins. They have to get Elvis hitting though, he's been bad lately.

Anyone hear how Sorias work went the other day?

Soria was perfect with two strike outs in his last appearance..

And Kinsler has officially turned the corner with me. You will hear no more trade hate from me except for the occasional PUK reference.

PUK will forever be his nickname. He won't escape that one. I watched the first 4 innings last night and fully expected to wake up to a loss. Glad they got it done. Now, they've got to keep winning because I know the A's are going to find a way to do so too.

On an un-Ranger note: What is the health status of Oakland A catcher Derrick Norris? I felt so bad for that guy the other night.

There's no let up in the schedule for The Rangers. Yankees followed by Reds. Fun times.

Two more sweeps would be 11 in a row! With the Blue Jays going for their 12th, I don't feel so bad about losing to them now.

I was very impressed with Perez Saturday. Hopefully he's found the groove he had in Round Rock!

11 in a row would be great, but as long as we stay on track and keep winning series we will be fine. The A's havent had their slump yet, but they will, and when they do we need to put as much distance between them as we can. Need to keep play well leading up to the AS break, get a few arms back on the pitching staff, and roll thru the second half.

Yep, that's what I'm hoping for. They A's have lost 4 of the last 5 so maybe their slump has started. They're still a team that could win 20+ in a row like they did in '03 but I doubt they will. Either way, we need to add some distance. Hopefully Yu will keep us on pace with his 8th win tomorrow night. We should be arms healthy after the All-Star break with Soria, Lewis, and eventually Feliz. I hope Berkman gets in a groove after the added rest this weekend.
