I know this is an issue with the Polaris 800 crew. I have searched the internet and taken it to 2 different dealers. We have replaced the wiring, sensors, thermostat, wired the fan to constantly run. Nothing is helping. It will overheat just idiling or driving on the road around the neiborhood. Yes the radiator is clean...I don't care to hear I should have bought "Brand X" because that it what you have, ect.. I just want to hear if you know of a possible solution.

I bought my 2012 and have dealt with this problem since new, they reflashed the ECU, replaced the thermostat and replaced the radiator to finally get the temp under control. Since then I have had a few more problems with it, let me preface this by saying I do take the buggy mudding sometimes in the spring/summer. Have found that the radiator get clogged with mud, weeds, grass and dirt easily yet is very difficult to get cleaned out... Taking the radiator out is about the only way to get it really clean...
On the PRC forum there are several threads on this issue... It is also said that low fuel pressure will cause the heat, the fuel pumps are known for being weak, mine is currently broken on mine and am waiting for a new one to come in, will let you if this helps me once I replace the pump...
