We rented a house on huisache the first of this month. The only night we ate out was @ blackbeards. I dont recommend it.
The best meal we had was the fresh trout & redfish we caught in the bay.........mmmmmmnnn

Some of the best mesquite grilled fajitas in Texas are at the Louie's upstairs Sportsbar.
The Louie's buffet. It is buffet food...but they have crab legs...all you can eat.
DO NOT MISS....Cap n Roys. Small no frills place. Blackened shrimp and fish....and the FUMI SALAD!!!!!!!
BUNJEE Juuuuuuump.
Our favorite is Padre Island Brewing Company but based on BoB's advice we tried Cap n Roy's Saturday. That place is GREAT and the least expensive meal we ate all week.

The Brewery is the only place we went twice and NEVER miss going there when we are on the Island. Best Burgers on the Island in my opinion.

I worked in RGV and lived on the island for a year and a half. Needless to say I looked for non-tourist priced spots.
Man you referred to SPI and all week in the same sentence. Very nice and lucky you.
