One More Try for San Juan

The wife and I are planning a vacation to the San Juan Islands in late July. Has anyone on the GS been to that area? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Never even heard of this place, had to google. I thought it was going to be tropical. What do you plan to do there, whale watch?

PS... I own land just south of Dodd. Do you hunt around there?

The Islands are in the Pudget Sound. We've heard it's scenic and cool up there.

I have several places to hunt around the Dodd City area.

I am just off of 1550. If I can keep the coyotes and pigs at bay, I think it will be a good deer season this year.
