Just walked in the door... Mounts are still up... Momma seems to have calmed down a tad.

I was in Spur and bought some catfish at the feed store today. Looks like they got some rain over the last couple of days. Should be good for you over there.
I planted my food plot on Sunday with a legume mix and iron clay's. I already had a bunch of them poking through today because of the .8" we have had since Sunday. I'm not going to open it up until about the first week in September and see if I can keep all of the new bucks in around the shack.
I also fenced off about 5 acres around the shack where the cows can't get in there anymore. I'm going to start feeding on the ground soon.
