Cleaning old ball caps

I have some hats- the ones I wear working in the yard, etc that I never wash. When they get so nasty they are starting to rot, I trash'em. I hand wash my "nicer caps" in the sink - warm (not hot) water, Woolite and a scrub brush. I then stuff it with wadded up newspaper and hang in the garage overnight to dry.

Cleaning old ball caps
I wore hats so dirty I could take my pocket knife and scape the layer of dirt/oil/grease off the bill. But I have started washing before that get that bad here. Soak In our holding take full of industrial strength degreaser/soap and water. Then hit the pressure washer. Wear till dry or hang on fan till dry.
