Edge products recalling diesel programmers

Here is what they sent me. Wonder if they have provided a list to the government?

Edge has been involved in litigation with the federal government regarding the manufacture and sale of Edge Racing branded products. The United States Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") has alleged that these products are illegal "defeat devices" that violate the Clean Air Act's prohibition against the installation of equipment on a motor vehicle that defeats or renders inoperative its emission controls. Under the terms of a Consent Decree lodged with the United States District Court for the District of Utah to settle the claims brought by EPA, Edge has agreed to cease the manufacture and sale of the devices. I already have the Edge Evo Race CTS in my truck. Been there 2 years

There will be no more support from them

May return it and go with an EFI live

They will pay me $850 for it but it requires my truck to be put back to stock. That's not gonna happen

If theyre gonna pay you 850 why not go back to stock, get efilive, which is a MUCHHHHHHH better programmer, and still have 100 bucks left over? EFI can do everything and a lot more than the edge does programming wise. I bought mine from http://duramaxtuner.com/and he will hook you up with two tunes included in the price. Nick is a GREAT vendor

Go with efi live. Call Chris b at Truck Source Diesel in San Antonio. He can get you set up with an auto cal tuner from efi and 4 custom tunes for like 500 or so. Pm me for more info

Edge is garbage anyways IMO. I've got the mini maxx with deletes on my truck and it'll stay there
