    Ameristep customer service

    I pulled my Ameristep Brickhouse blind from the lease and it had some rodent damage and some of the hub support rod pockets had given out. I contacted Ameristep and they simply said "You can repair it yourself, or have a tarp shop repair it". Honestly, I wanted to pay for the rodent damage but the blind is just over the 1 year warranty period and they are turning their back on support rod pockets giving out. Anyone else have a similar issue? On a side note....I bought a Double Bull matrix about the same time I got the Ameristep and had no problems.

    I have a 4 year old DB. The cows stomped it into the ground this year breaking 9 of the support rods. They sent me new rods. all I paid for was the shipping.

      I had a ameristep that was in a heck of a storm breaking most of the rods, one call and they had a whole bunch over nighted to me for the next hunt...and I told them it was over two years old... I now own 6 of the brickhouses and have a new DB on the way..

        Used two of these during the monster quest show and they just darn near floated off.. Broke all my rods and lost my bag.
        One call and I had them in a few days. I am 100 percent backing Ameristep!!

          They replied quickly to an email I sent concerning my Dog House blind but have not replied to my second one sent last Thurs. My zipper on the door is shot.

            I think it is hit or miss with their service. I tried to email them several times about my pink powerhouse. No response at all. I have heard of several people who have had better than expected service form them.

            I guess I will be buying another brand next time. They have lost my business.
