Mice in Camper at Lease-Suggestions on Eradication

I am not a fan of the old fashion snap traps as they end up leaving a dead and stinky mess upon my return to the lease.

Do moth balls work on mice?

Mouse food such as the fly stuff for coons?

I may be reaching but I don't want the dead carcasses in un-reachable places if possible.

I am fairly certain it is not possible to seal up the camper to keep them out.

We through 3 large box's of moth balls under the trailer scattered about and about 5 inside under the sink and the bathroom area. Kinda hard to be in the trailer the first few days but ok after that. (put them inside when your leave to come home)

Then we put "Bounce" the dryer sheets in every drawer, under beds, under couch, every cabinet and more and more.

We no longer have mice = replace moth balls annually and bounce about every 3 months.

12ga works well enough, and if you miss the little devils prolly wont come back.
Glue traps, generally they're stuck completely on trap and you can just throw trap away, no real mess.

Scatter a few of these periodically. Problem solved.

I use two six foot Rat Snakes that make themselves at home. I have not had any signs of mice since they moved in. When I get there first chore is to open the cabinet get them out and take them outside. I can spend the weekend and not see the snakes once, when I come back next time they will be back in thier favorite spot inside the cabinet.

Try it I promise you will no longer have mice.

Moth balls work if you can handle the smell. Also your camo will pick up the smell.

What about the things that plug into the outlet and produce a high frequency sound. I don't know if they work - just seen them in Walmart before. May be worth a try..

I do the moth balls and don't have a problem. thomason whats the Bounce sheets for ?

My guess is to cover the smell of the moth balls.

Oil of peppermint. Rodents hate the smell. Worked at my camper in Big Lake.
