Anyone on here list their own house/condo for rent?

My wife and I just bought a house and we're going to lease our condo. We're considering doing it ourselves instead of paying a realtor a month's rent to list it and do a background check.

Does anyone here do the same thing? If so, do you have any advice? Where do you list your property?

I own a few town homes in Pasadena. Just signs at a few of the major intersections is how I list mine. I'll get about 15 calls a day. I use Amerusa.com for screening, and use my gut instincts.
