Another coral snake

26", maybe a little more, without head. It's in the freezer now, if anyone wants it I can bring it to the Leander BBQ next weekend.

That's a big coral too! We used to find a few when we were in Victoria area years ago and the big ones were bout 16".

As you can clearly see from the tape, the snake is a hair over 26", and has no head.

Snakes without heads are "happy" snakes...I like the "happiest" of "happy" snakes..everytime I see one, I go out of my way to "cheer up his day" I am not prejudiced, all snakes need to be "happy" it makes me "happy" to make them "happy"....

I was alway told that the skin had some amount of toxicity in it. I had one in my freezer that I was going to make a headband out of but when I heard that I threw it away. Did I make a mistake by doing that?
