Howdy everyone!!!
It feels great to finally post again after an estimated 6 month absense! An occasional lurk or 2 was had and enjoyed, but not like the old me. This semester was a tough one with many notable events taking place. Some of you know me better than others and will remember:
1) Last summer I was a private pilot in training, trying to earn my wings. Got'em!!! August 16, 2006, on a hellacious windy day that would scare most pilots, I passed my private checkride! All TBH pilots lets go fly some time. Oshcosh, WI someday!
2) I had an extremely tough battle of nicotine addiction by using smokeless tobacco, but kicked the can on March 11, 2006. My last dip was at our very own Bownanza 2006, after our druken guitar performances which some of you who stayed later might remember. It was an uneventful dip of Skoal Straight...
277 days later and I am still tobacco free! Not a single pinch, cigarette, cigar, nada! I work for US Smokeless tobacco too, but never did cave, and will never be a slave at the hands of nicotine again. This was a life changing decision and I feel like a GIANT.
For those of you thinking about quitting, you can do it! You have to really want to quit for yourself and no one else. I would like to thank Spur, Broadhead and others for the much needed support, and at times pure brutal honest truth. Any TBH quit brothas in the house?
3) This semester is about to come to an end. Whew! After taking classes, Student Government Senator and Committee Chairman duties, a job with Copenhagen and Skoal (ironic isn't it?), and experiencing life as a fraternity pledge (Sigma Chi); this semester will come screaching to a hault this thursday December 14th.
It was extremely mentally challenging, and I am committed to doing less from now until I graduate, with a focus on quality, not quantity. I've learned that I need to specialize in a few things and become great at them instead of nibbling the surface with many things.
I have 3 more finals to take and your prayers are welcomed as my grades need to be very good on these last tests. Thank you in advance!

So a giant thanks to those who kept this site running while I was away;
those who updated the software of this great site;
those who went out of their way to take a kid hunting, or give away a free bow this season, because that makes me happy;
the TBH comedians who brighten our days; providing toasts and roasts to fellow TBH members since 1999. And to all the jokes they provide that cause us all to snicker and giggle, and point and laugh like the children that we are... Meanwhile our friends and family will poke fun, but we all know it is all out of jealosy;
and even to the Ebineezer Scroodge posters who will humble us, and remind us to be pleasant and caring people while showing respect for others.
Please continue to pray for 1) Cody Looper and family. Say a new one for 2) Kyle Kenney. Kyle is one of my best buds, whom at age 22 will have open heart surgery tomorrow to remove a tumor, and 3) if you have time...
a lil bitty one for my exams tomorrow and thursday. Thanks
Finish the season strong and hunt hard
Its good to be back on board
Why did I type so much?
Happy Holidays,
Keith
