that place by seminole, they told me they have seen three 160 class whitetails out there also, but i call bs until i see them myself. i have never seen a whitetail out there, but theres a chance.
i can also send you a pic that my dad took of a 300 pound plus mul;ey that is only a 6 point, just barely a six point. noone beleives me but i dont care. the guys that have seen the deer in person are the only ones i talk to about it. now if i can find a place with whitetails like that

the season in andres in the past years has been open on the west side of 385- closed on the east. so of course the deer travel east when shots are fired. now all that land is game and the deer dont know it. and i dont think any part of the other two counties have ever had a season. but now they do. ill see what i can find on it.

You're telling me that there are mule deer in the world record class in Texas! Why is everyone going out of Texas to kill 180+???
From Boone and Crockett
B&C WORLD'S RECORDS MULE DEER WORLD'S RECORDS TYPICAL MULE DEER
SCORE: 226 4/8
LOCATION: Dolores County, CO
HUNTER: Doug Burris, Jr.
OWNER: Cabela's, Inc.
DATE: 1972
KEY MEASUREMENTS:
Length of main beam: Right 30 1/8 - Left 28 6/8
Inside spread: 30 7/8
Circ. of smallest place between burr and first point: Right 5 2/8 - Left 5 3/8
Number of points: Right 6 - Left 5
WORLD'S RECORDS NON-TYPICAL MULE DEER
SCORE: 355 2/8
LOCATION: Chip Lake, AB
HUNTER: Ed Broder
OWNER: Don Schaufler
DATE: 1926
KEY MEASUREMENTS:
Length of main beam: Right 26 2/8 - Left 26 1/8
Inside spread: 22 1/8
Circ. of smallest place between burr and first point: Right 5 - Left 4 7/8
Number of points: Right 22 - Left 21
so if i read this correctly what you're saying is that the world record typical mule deer is in Texas and one of the top nontypicals is in Texas as well! Considering that the entire state produces maybe 3-5 muleys per year over 200! And this place has " seven different muledeer" you're right I'm calling BS now!220 whitetail had a better chance of stickin T8!
Okay i'll stop picking on you now! welcome back youngster!Last edited by mesquitecountry; 04-21-2008, 08:58 PM.
