    Box blind vs Round Blind

This is your chance to give some pros and cons for hunting out of a traditional box blind or a round/circular blind like the krivoman blinds and the blind turtle. Really wanted some good info on this. A few of mine.

Pros for box, corner space, shelves.

Pros for circle, Ease of shooting directions.

    both work both great

krivo blinds main advantage for me is mobility, you can hypothetically move it. They are much steamier then a box blind but I think that can be fixed with some ventilation.

shooting direction is dependant on windows i can shoot out of my box blinds 180 degree's just like my krivo. I also fit two better out of my box blinds but i like the durability of the krivo's better.

my future purchases. . . . more of both

I prefer square wood so I can customize it like I see fit. Bowhunt only for the dude above ^^

No a big fan of mucho large windows that let in light and ruin the blacked out effect so having mucho shooting windows is out for me in either type. Give me one decent size shooting window and a couple of viewing windows and I'm good. Add in an office chair, hangers and shelves for me to put my stuff on including easy access to my cell phone and we can sit all day if needed..

The two outside windows here are usually closed and have dark tinted windows for viewing. Middle window is 10x15"...

Round = difficult for DIY windows

My net one will be an octogon shaped. The best of both worlds.

Squared off sides an back end, and octagonal front is what I went with! Gun and bow capable

I have both....I bowhunt out of a 6x6 metal blind and a KrivoBlind.

The box blind is super nice with office chair, carpet, shelves and a heater.
Downside is the weight...It's a heavy mammer jammer. Not easy to move.

I like my Krivoman blind for the light weight and ease of concealment. I have loaded and moved that blind a handful of times by my self. A huge benefit is that you can carry that sucker to wherever you want not limited to where you can only get a trailor into.

                  Each blind has their purpose.

I don't have any pics on my phone of the 6x6 but here's my Krivoman blind.

Im a custom wooden built myself kinda guy. Im actually thinking of putting in a duct that goes about 10' above the blind with a whirly bird on it. Plan to guy it off to the blind somehow. Anyone ever try this, in theory if the wind is blowing it should draw air in through the windows and out the top of the stack high enough to not allow scent to fall in the immediate area.

I built these 6x6x6 box wooden blinds for $180 total including hinge hardware and paint. They are 5 separate sides with no floor incase we wanna make a move. I figure adding a coat of paint every year or other year will keep them in good shape.

I have several box blinds, one that is 5 x 8 x 7 and weighs a ton. We had to use the tractor to put it up on its stand. It never moves and is our gun stand. I recently purchased a krivoman blind and have been very happy with the flexibility to move it when needed. I built a 8 x 8 platform for it to sit on. I can move both with me and my buddy and gives purpose.
