So I get a new guy at work on Monday. Find out getting to know him thru-out the day that this man is a combat vet. Purple Heart recipient. He even does so much for our service members. We as normal everyday people forget how much our service men & women do for us. I just wanted to say THANKS!

I'm rebuilding a boat trailer for a wounded vet so that it holds six kayaks. Even though all his wounds add up to 240% disability (he gets 100%), he has a program that takes wounded vets kayak fishing. He always tells me how lucky he is.

He was supposed to be at the shop to help me today. He called about ten to tell me he was in the hospital and would be there several days as his back went out again.
